Microsoft Purview will soon support Microsoft Copilot in Fabric and Microsoft Security Copilot without requiring a Copilot license. Public preview starts in late March 2025, with general availability by late August 2025. Admins need to create a new policy to monitor interactions. No admin action is required before rollout.
SharePoint Online users can now manage pages using the left navigation pane, create new pages, navigate to recently edited sites, and duplicate existing pages. The rollout began in March 2025 and will complete by April 2025. No admin action is required, but user notification and documentation updates are recommended.
In April 2025, Python in Excel will expand to include Microsoft 365 commercial licenses with web app access. Users can add Python formulas in Excel with enterprise-level security. A premium Python compute add-on license will be available for faster calculations. Admins can manage licenses and self-service purchases in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Organizations using the Microsoft Purview HR Connector with Insider Risk Management must update their PowerShell scripts by March 31, 2025, to continue uploading data. Updated scripts are available on GitHub for different environments. If not using the HR Connector, this message can be disregarded.
Microsoft Defender for Office 365 is enhancing page load performance to address user feedback on latency. Phase 1, starting in late March 2025 and ending by late June 2025, targets improvements in Submission, Quarantine, Threat Explorer, Email Entity, and Policy Configuration pages. No disruptions or admin actions are required.

When Town hall was released, there were some columns/data related to each Town hall event that were missing in the TAC usage reports for IT Admins. Now all the relevant usage related data are added to the town hall usage reports available in the TAC portal for Admins.
