New predicates for email Data Loss Prevention in Microsoft Purview will allow organizations to set policies based on the number of recipients or domains in outgoing emails. This feature, rolling out in 2025, enhances data security and compliance. No admin action is required before the rollout. More details are available in Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 483158.

Microsoft Teams is implementing a one-year retention policy for meeting attendance reports, effective immediately. This applies to all Teams platforms and impacts Microsoft Graph API requests. Attendance reports for meetings before November 1, 2024, will be accessible until late August 2025. Contact Microsoft Support to apply the policy now.
Users will soon be able to search past Copilot chat sessions in Microsoft 365 Copilot. This feature requires a Microsoft 365 Copilot license and will be available on Windows desktop and the web. The rollout starts in early March 2025 and completes by mid-March 2025.
The user privacy setting for optional connected experiences will be available in Microsoft Outlook on the web starting March 2025. Users can configure this setting via Settings > General > Privacy and data > Privacy settings. Admins should review current configurations and notify users. No admin action is required before the rollout.
