Plan for Change: Enhancements to Simplify Update Management

Enhancements to Windows Autopatch will remove the Global Admin requirement, allowing any tenant with a valid license to manage updates. Changes effective March 31st include expanded Autopatch group capabilities, a new client broker flow, enhanced support, and the removal of certain features. Plan for these changes in the Microsoft Intune admin center.

Power Automate – Use certificate-based authentication in desktop flow connections

We are releasing the use certificate-based authentication in desktop flow connections feature for Power Automate. This feature enhances security by allowing the use of certificates stored in Azure Key Vault for connecting to Windows sessions on desktop flow machines. Certificate-based authentication credentials can meet Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) requirements. This feature will reach general availability on March 31, 2025.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Recipient-triggered policy tips (policy tip to wait for recipient)

This feature ensures that policy tips are displayed only after recipients are added to an email, minimizing user disruption from DLP policy tips. With this improvement, relevant policy tips are only shown to users as they draft emails after the proper policy conditions are met.
