This change will simplify the Clipchamp editing experience and increase the space you have on the stage to make great videos. We’re also introducing light mode as a new option for people to choose whether they view the Clipchamp editor in a Light or Dark scheme.

Clipchamp’s integration with Copilot Visual Creator allows users to generate videos from typed prompts, sourcing from Microsoft 365’s stock media. Videos are saved in OneDrive and can be edited in Clipchamp. The feature rolls out from mid-February to mid-March 2025 and is available with Microsoft 365 Copilot plan. Users can control access and provide feedback within the app.

Microsoft 365 Copilot emails will now come from m365copilotupdates@microsoft.com instead of the previous address. This change, happening in late January 2025, requires no admin action but users should be informed.

Microsoft Viva Insights will enhance Microsoft 365 Copilot’s adoption insights by adding usage intensity and retention metrics to the Copilot Dashboard. This update, which does not require a Copilot license to view, will roll out in late January 2025 and will be available by default. Admins and leaders can measure usage frequency and consistency with new visual tools and cards. Existing admin controls will be respected post-update. No admin action is needed before the rollout.

We are bringing Amplify capabilities to SharePoint. Soon, you will be able to share your Pages to multiple channels using Amplify without needing to navigate away from SharePoint. You will receive the in-depth Amplify reporting on these pages.

These connectors will support ingestion for T-Mobile and HKCSL data to user mailboxes and makes them available for compliance.

Delegate management and remediation authority for different people in different regions or organization units with role-based access control (RBAC). For example, German investigators should be able to investigate alerts and audit events for only German users. This update extends support to SharePoint for Microsoft 365.
