Microsoft Viva Amplify: Access to most recent templates

Microsoft Viva Amplify is updating template access. User-created templates will appear in the first three positions on the campaign overview page, with the most recent template first. Additional templates can be managed under ‘View all templates.’ Rollout began mid-June 2024 and will complete by end-June 2024. This update is part of Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 398978.

Installing web add-ins to replace COM add-ins in new Outlook for Windows

Microsoft Teams: Detecting and hiding inactive channels

Microsoft Purview compliance portal | eDiscovery: Compliance boundary cmdlet tool to manage compliance boundary property

The message details an upcoming feature in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal: a new cmdlet, ‘Invoke-ComplianceSecurityFilterAction’, for managing compliance boundary properties for mailboxes and sites. It is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap IDs 397091 and 398451, with rollout starting mid-July 2024 and completing by late August 2024. The feature will simplify compliance management and is off by default. Organizations are advised to review the cmdlet documentation and prepare compliance admins for the update.

Teams Rooms on Android and Teams Phones impacted by retirement of legacy notifications infrastructure: UPGRADE REQUIRED!

Legacy notification infrastructure for chat messaging in Teams Rooms on Android and Teams Phones will retire on July 31, 2024. Updates to specific app versions are required to avoid disruption. The change does not affect Teams Rooms on Windows or Surface Hub devices, nor Teams Panels.
