Microsoft Teams: The “Notify when available” feature is now live in the new Teams app

The “Notify when available” feature in Microsoft Teams notifies users when a colleague is available. It can be activated via the chat list or the “People” section in settings. Microsoft Viva Amplify: New Microsoft Copilot Deployment Kit

Microsoft Stream: Less storage space consumed for Stream videos in Microsoft 365 Suite

Microsoft Stream is updating to reduce storage space usage by not creating new versions for metadata changes to video and audio files. This change, associated with Roadmap ID 395380, will be implemented worldwide from mid-July to late August 2024. Admins don’t need to take action, but should inform users and update documentation. Microsoft Defender for Identity: “Honeytoken was queried via SAM-R alert” retires June 30, 2024

The “Honeytoken was queried via SAM-R” feature in Microsoft Defender for Identity will retire on June 30, 2024. Users should use advanced hunting queries for custom detection. After retirement, alerts for honeytoken queries using SAM-R protocol will stop. Users need to prepare by adapting to the recommended query method.

Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams: Unified management of Teams apps in Teams, Outlook, and the Microsoft 365 app

In 2023, Microsoft introduced Teams apps compatible with Outlook and the Microsoft 365 app. Starting in June 2024, Unified App Management will streamline app management across Teams, Outlook, and the Microsoft 365 app. This rollout will occur in three phases, affecting app settings and management.
