To configure Microsoft managed storage, similar to customer managed storage, the user can go to endpoint DLP settings and select Microsoft managed storage. If a tenant has the (EnableAllOcsiClients) GPO enabled, Office and OneDrive are able to communicate smoothly. Right now, tenants have the option to disable the GPO, and when they disable the GPO, it becomes difficult to ensure that all internal versions of Office files are kept up to date so that features like autosave, version history, real time user collab, and merging in the case of conflicts can work.
Viva Insights users will now be able request delegate access from a Manager in the Insights Teams or Web app. Previously, Managers could assign delegates, but potential delegates could not request access from a Manager. This request access update will allow for increased ease & flexibility of providing delegate access in Insights.
This card will help operators add a card on the Viva Connections Dashboard which will provide quick access to the frequently accessed and followed sites by the end user.
Microsoft Teams will soon allow anonymous users to join meetings with watermarked access to all content. Rollout begins early November 2024, with full availability by mid-November. Admins’ watermark policies remain unchanged, while users will see a watermark of their entered guest name. The feature is default but can be altered via PowerShell script.
