You can now search for content related to specific people. Start by typing the name of the relevant person in the search bar and select the filter to narrow down the search results and get relevant content suggestions.
You can now record and share the correct pronunciation of your name, promoting inclusivity and helping colleagues avoid mispronunciations. With a click, you can play and listen to your colleagues’ name pronunciations.
You can now insert a hyperlink to your chat message text in fewer clicks. Select the text you want to display and paste the URL, without needing to use the traditional hyperlink dialogue box.
Use Copilot in your workflow on the canvas by invoking Copilot to generate a summary, a to-do list, or to help you rewrite the content on the page or based on your selection.
Users will be able to play back video hosted on OneDrive and SharePoint that is encoded in the Apple ProRes video codec.
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android will soon allow admins to receive user-submitted issues via a configured email address. This feature enhances issue triage and response and will be available worldwide and in GCC regions between November and December 2024. It will be off by default.
Billing periods for products per seat are changing. New customers or those with invoices starting with “G” will be affected. Invoices will now be issued the day after the subscription start date or anniversary. Transition may cause two invoices in one month. Preparation involves checking billing timing under “Your products.”
Viva Engage will offer a new way to see contributions from close contacts and leaders within conversation threads. In the home feed and More for You feed, users see two comments that are meaningful to them and the overall conversation. Users can see the rest of the conversation with one click. There are no changes to the comment, reply, or reaction experiences with this new feature.
The Microsoft Exchange admin center (EAC) has a new URL available now, with redirection from the old URL starting late October 2024 and completing by late December 2024. Both URLs will work until further notice. Organizations should whitelist the new URL and update bookmarks and documentation. No admin action is required before the rollout.
The new Microsoft Outlook for Windows will soon allow opening or restarting the app while offline. This feature is part of Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 414516 and will be available from early October to late November 2024. No action is needed for preparation.
