This policy enables IT admins to block Copilot responses that might infer emotions, make evaluations, discuss personal traits, and use context to deduce answers. When this setting is applied it restricts copilot’s ability to make inferences or evaluations about people or groups when prompted to do so by users. Users cannot disable this setting. The setting applies to Copilot in Teams meetings.
Admins can switch the screens of Teams Rooms on Android
devices in dual display mode remotely, correcting front-of-room display
issues without physical support. The screen swap control is accessible in
device settings and the Teams admin center.
The UX for Microsoft Purview AI Hub will have enhancements so that more recommendations can be displayed and triaged.
Outlook for Windows will soon allow sharing of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files stored locally on devices via email. The rollout starts mid-September 2024, completing by mid-November 2024, with no admin action required. Users can right-click a file and select new Outlook to share it.
Microsoft Purview’s Information Protection will soon integrate Advanced Message Encryption with Message Recall for emails in Outlook, enabling licensed users to recall encrypted emails.
