Outlook is introducing a feature allowing users to copy meeting attendees’ responses to the clipboard. It will be available on Outlook for Windows and the web, starting mid-September 2024 for Targeted Release and mid-October 2024 for General Availability. No admin action is required for this rollout.
Starting September 2024, Microsoft Viva Engage will introduce a mute user feature, allowing admins to remove a user’s posts from various feeds and email digests. This feature is part of the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 396168 and will be available by default. No admin action is required for the rollout.
Environment routing is coming to Copilot Studio. This feature will allow your Power Platform admins to automatically direct new or existing makers into your own personal developer environments. Environment routing will be generally available beginning September 15, 2024.
The Maker Welcome Content feature will be made widely available starting on September 15, 2024. This feature allows admins to set customized welcome content for first-time makers within Power Apps and Copilot Studio.
Microsoft Purview Advanced Message Encryption will support Exchange Online’s Cloud-based Message Recall feature for encrypted messages in Outlook on the Web and the New Outlook for Windows.
Files with retention labels marking them as locked records will now open as read only to prevent user edits.
Currently, new Outlook for for Windows supports apps and add-ins for the user’s primary account only. We will be enabling apps and add-ins to be supported across all of the accounts added to new Outlook, dynamically switching to the active identity. #newoutlookforwindows
A user will be able to view and manage OneDrive colored folders within Windows File Explorer.
Admins will be able to duplicate Copilot Academy and customize it for their own requirements. They will also be able to duplicate Microsoft curated Learning paths and featured Set.
