Outlook on the web has a new “Account” settings category for improved usability. Settings like Automatic replies, Email signatures, Categories, Mobile devices, and Storage have been moved to this category. Rollout begins late August 2024 for Targeted Release and late September 2024 for General Availability. Organizations may need to update training and documentation.
Microsoft Viva Amplify is introducing a new Banner web part and updates to the title area, allowing for more layout options and the ability to remove the title area. Rollout begins mid-August 2024 with full availability by mid-September 2024. No admin action is required for this update.
Private unlisted groups in external networks on Microsoft Viva Engage will be retired on January 13, 2025, and deleted on February 10, 2025. Users should convert these groups to listed ones to preserve them and their data. Guides for managing external networks and admin roles are provided.
Direct URL access to deployment configurations in the Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center will be retired between late September and early October 2024. Organizations using this service must download configurations to use with the Office Deployment Tool.

When attending a meeting in a Teams Rooms on Windows, users can now start or stop recording without having to join on their companion device. The start/stop recording button will be available as long as the meeting organizer is not a designated resource account. This feature is available Teams Rooms Pro.
