Teams admins will soon access a new Protection reports section in the Teams admin center to review and export user-reported security submissions for calls (from mid-April 2026) and later for chats and channels. A new Exchange Online PowerShell cmdlet will allow admins to change the organizer of existing meetings or series, preserving meeting history and updating attendees silently within the tenant. Teams Android device management is moving from the Teams admin center to the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal between April and September 2026. Starting March 2026, Microsoft Defender Antivirus with MDE configuration management will stop storing readable exclusion values in the local registry. Organizations must use supported PowerShell cmdlets like Get-MpPreference to retrieve antivirus settings. Registry-based monitoring will no longer work for affected devices.
