New cmdlet for Content Explorer

The current Content Explorer Export feature has a limitation of exporting data only after drilling down to specific location. The new feature coming to General Availability will allow admins to use a new cmdlet within the Security and Compliance PowerShell, Export-ContentExplorerData, to export all rows of data for the content that are scanned and shown on Content Explorer.

Upcoming changes to Windows Single Sign-On

Prepare for changes if you manage Windows 10 or Windows 11 devices in the European Economic Area (EEA). In January 2024, users will start seeing a new SSO notice allowing them to choose how to sign in to apps. The notice will be fully rolled out by March 2024 to both consumers and IT users. Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Policy wizard enhancements

To enhance the user experience for editing and creating policies, we will be making improvements to the Trigger, Trigger threshold, Indicator threshold, and Summary pages of the policy wizard. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft Teams: Calendar notifications in Teams

Users can now triage the calendar notifications in their Activity Feed and will get notifications for meeting invites, updates, cancellations, and forwards (if the user is the meeting organizer). These notifications will show up as unread in the Activity Feed pane and will display the details when a user clicks on it.
