Microsoft Teams: Call delegation feature enhancements

Shared line appearance lets a user choose a delegate to answer or handle calls on their behalf. We are launching a simplified experience for users who have set up call delegation which will be available on the Teams desktop app and Teams phone devices. The new UI will allow delegates to easily switch between the different delegator lines they manage and view call history for the delegator’s line.
Delegators will be able to view and join active calls handled by the delegate and grant delegates permission to join active calls.

Microsoft Teams: Teams Connect chat enhancements

IT admins will be able to add external partners with phone-based Teams accounts not managed by an organization to their organization’s extended directory. These external users can have a company curated user profile including location and job role. Users in the organization, who are enabled for Teams external access, can search for these external users by name and establish 1:1 or group chats, just like they do with internal users.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Recommended thresholds by insider risk analytics

With this update, admins can receive recommended thresholds for insider risk policies, including potential data leak and data theft by departing employee policies, by leveraging the insights from insider risk analytics. By using these recommended thresholds, admins can improve the effectiveness of policies and generate an optimal number of alerts. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft EHR Connector: Auto updating public keys for EHR connector enabled virtual visits

This feature update will allow Microsoft Teams EHR Connector to automatically supply Epic EHR systems with customer specific public keys for OAuth2 authentication during EHR Connector meeting launches. This differs from the pre-existing workflow where public keys were manually uploaded into Epic. By automating this process, the feature provides reliability and security improvements by allowing more frequent automated rotation of certificates by avoiding manual steps in the rotation process.
