Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Communication Compliance – Recommended policy scope

Leverage policy scope insights to understand the aggregated volume of policy violations that are missed from users that are not currently scoped into the policy. Communication Compliance provides the tools to help organizations detect code of conduct and regulatory compliance violations, such as harassing or threatening language, sharing of adult content, and inappropriate sharing of sensitive information. Built with privacy by design, usernames are pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls are built in, investigators are opted in by an admin, and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – new sequence indicators

With this update, Insider Risk Management will provide new sequence indicators that start with activities on devices that may lead to a data security incident, including downgrading/removing file labels, archiving files, and downloading files from unallowed sites. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Keyword highlight support for document trainable classifiers

Highlight the keywords/phrases that are contributing significantly to the Trainable classifier results, so that users can easily understand the classification of the documents. This would build trust of the users of the OOB classifications and empower them to create DLP policies.

Windows 365: GCC and GCC High resize support

The resize feature allows admins to seamlessly upgrade or downgrade users’ existing Cloud PC resources (vCPU/RAM/Storage) via license switch. This capability is now being extended to GCC/GCCH as well as customers on FedRamp. We are targeting the preview by end of 2023.

Adaptive policy scopes enable your organization to create scopes that automatically updates which users to include in your policy based on geography, group, or another user attribute. The policy will automatically update to match the criteria defined in the scope instead of you constantly needing to update the static list of users in your policies.
