Start a chat with anyone who has an email address, even if they’re not on Teams! They’ll receive an email inviting them to join your chat session as a guest. You’ll be able to chat, share files, and start calls all within Teams!

Microsoft ends Windows 10 support on October 14, 2025, stopping security updates and technical support. Microsoft Defender will still offer limited protection. To stay secure, upgrade to Windows 11 or use the Extended Security Update (ESU) program if upgrading isn’t immediately possible. Review compliance needs accordingly.

Starting November 1, 2025, Microsoft Teams trials in the EEA will be limited to 31 days to comply with regulatory changes. Existing trials over 31 days will end by November 30, 2025. Users must switch to paid licenses to continue using Teams beyond the trial period.

Starting October 21, 2025, we will begin deprecating the Image to App and Figma to App features in Power Apps (Canvas Apps). These features allow users to create apps from images or Figma designs.

Viva Learning Academy 2.0 now allows learners to unfurl Learning Paths directly within the Academy interface, improving access and navigation. This feature, enabled by default, rolls out worldwide from mid to late October 2025 for users with Viva Learning premium or Microsoft 365 licenses, requiring no admin changes.




We are announcing the ability to enable intent group and agent group-based metrics and dimensions for real time analytics for record routing in Dynamics 365 Contact Center. This feature will reach general availability on October 20, 2025.
