Coming soon to public preview, we’re introducing machine learning (ML) model highlighting capabilities to enable Communication Compliance investigators to make more informed remediation actions.

When this will happen:

Rollout will begin in early June and is expected to be complete by late June.

How this will affect your organization:

This feature gives investigators greater context around which word or key phrase triggered an ML model policy match and caused a classifier to catch a message. This provides additional insights to support more informed remediation actions related to the policy alert.

What you need to do to prepare:

Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance helps organizations detect explicit code of conduct and regulatory compliance violations, such as harassing or threatening language, sharing of adult content, and inappropriate sharing of sensitive information. Built with privacy by design, usernames are pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls are built in, investigators are explicitly opted in by an admin, and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.
