Copilot is available for eligible Windows 10 devices

Today we start to roll out Copilot in Windows (in preview) to eligible, non-managed Windows 10 devices running Home and Pro editions of Windows 10, version 22H2. Devices on version 22H2 of Windows 10 Enterprise or Education, or Pro devices managed by organizations, will be included in a later rollout phase.

If your organization is considering a rollout of Copilot in Windows to all or some employees, this will help you evaluate and extend that experience to any workers still using Windows 10 devices.

We will roll out this experience in phases using Controlled Feature Rollout (CFR) technology over several months. When Copilot is rolled out to managed devices, you will be able to manage Copilot access in Windows 10 using your preferred mobile device management (MDM) solution (such as Microsoft Intune) or Group Policy. (Note that when you remove access to Copilot for some users, they will not be able to use it and its icon will not appear on the taskbar.)
