Devices Store in Teams admin center – Now Available for Italy, Ireland, France, Portugal customers

Teams certified devices enable equitable meetings and calling across spaces with inclusive, familiar, and high-quality audio and video, optimized for your organizational needs. This feature enables exploring certified Teams devices and direct procurement through the Teams admin center, where admins can discover and purchase these devices. All devices offered in the store are certified and optimized for Teams utilization.

The functionality is currently available to few geographies, and is being extended to customers in Italy, Ireland, France and Portugal through this release.

When this will happen:

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out late October and expect to complete by early November.

How this will affect your organization:

It does not impact end-users using Teams App.

For customers in Italy, Ireland, France and Portugal, this new feature will appear as an additional option in your Teams Admin Center left navigation bar, called: ‘Device store’ and will allow admins to access all Teams certified devices from a single place. Admins can search, sort or filter to browse through the catalog and find the device of their choice. They can then place an order through credit cards or purchase orders.

What you need to do to prepare:

You do not need to do anything to prepare. The Teams device store is enabled by default and is limited to Teams Admin Center. For additional information, please visit this documentation.
