We are announcing the ability to stay on track at every deal stage with delta-first guidance in Sales Close Agent in Dynamics 365 Sales. This feature will be available for preview on May 15, 2026.

Users will receive stage-aligned guidance and updates within opportunities, helping them focus on what has changed and what actions to take next:

  • Stage-aware guidance: See insights and next actions prioritized by the current business process flow stage and substage signals, so guidance matches the selling motion.
  • Delta-first updates: Lead with what changed since the last review, why it matters for this stage, and the next best actions to take.
  • Always-visible critical risks: Keep urgent cross-stage risks visible when they require immediate attention.
  • Out-of-the-box stage coverage: Get built-in guidance across Qualify, Develop, Propose, and Close, with support for customer variations.
