Microsoft 365 Apps: Cloud Update adds update health reporting

Microsoft 365 Apps Cloud Update will add update health reporting by April–May 2026, providing admins with detailed, aggregated diagnostics and error messages for update failures across managed devices. This feature is enabled by default, requires no user impact or policy changes, and enhances compliance monitoring.

Update health builds on existing Cloud Update insights by adding clearer, more actionable diagnostics when an update does not complete successfully. Administrators see descriptive, easy‑to‑understand error messaging aligned with error codes, along with aggregated issue views across Cloud Update‑managed devices.
