We are excited to announce that in Microsoft 365 Defender, you can now block suspicious entities when submitting emails, URLs, or attachments for Microsoft to review.

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out in late September and expect to complete by early October.

How this will affect your organization:

This won’t affect your organization in any way other than making it easy to create blocks via Tenant allow/block list while making a malicious URL, email attachment or email submission. 

What you need to do to prepare:

You need to inform the individual or organization who is making submissions today. We recommend updating training documentation as appropriate. To learn more, please visit this page.
