We are excited to announce that Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 in Microsoft Viva Goals is available to all customers. Copilot for Microsoft 365 in Viva Goals uses AI to assist in creating, sharing, managing, and summarizing your organizational goals quicker and easier.

When this will happen:

Preview: We began Preview in December 2023 and expect to complete in late February 2024.

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out this change in late February 2024 and expect to complete in early March 2024.

How this will affect your organization:

Copilot for Microsoft 365 in Viva Goals will be enabled for all users in your organization. Copilot for Microsoft 365 in Viva Goals can help users generate new goals based on suggestions by using conversational AI or provided planning documents and can summarize team goals based on check-ins. Tenant admin settings in Viva Goals allow you to selectively enable Copilot for Microsoft 365 in Viva Goals for a few users or groups of users using Microsoft 365 Group or a security group.

If you wish to enable or disable Copilot for Microsoft 365 in Viva Goals for selective users, please follow the steps here: Introduction to Copilot in Viva Goals. You may want to notify your users about this change and consider updating the training and documentation as appropriate.
