Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Logic Apps – Disruption for Twitter connector

As previously mentioned in, Twitter made the following announcement.

Starting February 9, we will no longer support free access to the Twitter API, both v2 and v1.1. A paid basic tier will be available instead.

How does this affect me?

As of Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 4:08 AM UTC, if you are using shared authentication with the Twitter connector you may see 401 – Unauthorized errors in their Power Apps, Flows and Logic Apps actions/triggers.

What action do I need to take?
As twitter no longer supports free access to the Twitter API, you will need to use the “Bring your own application” authentication as found in Twitter – Connectors | Microsoft Learn, if you would like to continue using Twitter actions within Power Platform.
