Currently available in public preview for Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (MC420054), we’re introducing support for complex conditions as part of a new DLP rule authoring experience. 

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 93274.

When this will happen:

Rollout will begin in mid-November and is expected to be complete by mid-December.

How this will affect your organization:

With this new DLP rule authoring experience, you will be able to create complex conditions while configuring your Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention policies. You will be able to create conditions with AND/OR combinations with the ability to create groups to achieve condition combinations like A AND (B OR C).

What you need to do to prepare:

You can access the Data Loss Prevention solution in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal and enable the new rule builder experience today from Compliance portal > Settings.
