Coming soon to public preview, sensitivity labeling will be available for meetings.

When this will happen:

Rollout to public preview will begin in early December and is expected to be complete by early January. 

How this will affect your organization:

With this update, admins will be able to extend sensitivity labels to Microsoft Outlook appointments, meeting invites in Microsoft Teams and Outlook, and Teams online meetings*. This enables admins to include labeled meetings in the scope of Information Protection policies.

*Note: Applying sensitivity labels to protect Teams online meetings requires Teams Premium licensing.

What you need to do to prepare:

No action is needed to enable this preview.

To utilize this preview functionality, configure sensitivity labels in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.
