Microsoft Syntex: move and copy content rule actions

Syntex content rules allow you to configure simple actions in document libraries based on file metadata. To make it easier to manage uploaded content we are providing two new actions, allowing you to move and copy files based on metadata extracted by Syntex models. For example, you can create a rule to move files tagged with a specific customer name to a specific library. This helps you structure your content architecture with the power of AI-driven processing.

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out at the beginning of January and expect to complete rollout by the end of January.

How this will affect your organization:

The rules editor you currently use to send notifications when files are uploaded, changed, or deleted in a document library will have two new actions displayed for licensed Syntex users. A rule can be created to move or copy a file based on specified triggers. The destination library can be in the same site or another one, but it must be one the rule creator has access to. These rules can co-exist in a library (up to 15 per library) but cannot target a destination library with other copy and move rules.
