Microsoft Syntex: New Library Setting to Manage Edited Files

Currently, when a file is uploaded or edited in a library where a Syntex model is applied, we process the file to classify it and extract information specified by the model. To provide more control for whether this action happens on file edits, we are providing a new library setting.

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out in late June and expect to complete rollout by mid-July.

How this will affect your organization:

A new option will be available on the library settings panel.

What you need to do to prepare:

The introduction of this setting does not change current behavior. We recommend notifying your Syntex users about this update.
