Microsoft Viva Engage: Digest email will now have audience analytics

Microsoft Viva Engage premium digest email will soon include audience analytics for designated leaders and their delegates. The change will roll out from mid-March 2024 to late April 2024 and will only apply to emails viewed in the interactive format in Outlook for the web or the New Outlook for Windows. No action is needed to prepare for this change.

We are rolling out a change to the Microsoft Viva Engage premium digest email, which will soon include audience analytics for designated leaders and their delegates.

Both the Viva Engage digest email and audience analytics require a Microsoft Viva Suite or Microsoft Viva Employee Communications and Communities premium SKU.

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out the change in mid-March 2024 and expect to complete by late April 2024.

This rollout only applies to emails viewed in the interactive format in Outlook for the web or the New Outlook for Windows.

Leaders and delegates who use Outlook Mac, Outlook for Windows (32 bit), Outlook Mobile, and other clients will continue to see their personal analytics in the Engage digest email. We will release this feature to emails in those clients later in 2024.

How this will affect your organization:

Leaders and delegates can stay up to date on their activity, conveniently located in this weekly premium digest email. This view replaces the current personal analytics module in the email. Non-leaders will continue to see their personal analytics module in the Engage digest email.

Admins do not need to do anything to enable audience analytics in the Engage digest email.

What you need to do to prepare:

No action is needed to prepare for this change. You may want to notify your users about this change and update any relevant documentation as appropriate.
