New Communication Compliance features: Teams conversation context
The Communication Compliance solution in the Microsoft 365 compliance center will soon support Teams conversation context (public preview) and provide new reporting for sensitive information types.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 68872 and 81970.
When this will happen:
Rollout will begin in early June and is expected to be complete by late July.
How this will affect your organization:
Teams conversation context:
This update provides the ability to retrieve additional conversation context for Microsoft Teams messages that match a Communication Compliance policy. This will help an investigator make a more informed decision about which remediation actions to take.
Sensitive information types per location report:
With this new report, you will be able to review and export the sensitive information types detected in all your Microsoft 365 and non-Microsoft communication channels currently in the scope of your Communication Compliance policies.
What you need to do to prepare:
When the new report is available to your organization, you can access it under the Reports tab.
