New service plan for customers using Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365
Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 is getting a new service plan, including Copilot in SharePoint, OneDrive, and AI Sharing Summaries in Word. The update will be available in mid-late February 2024, and no action is required from users.
The following products Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 Original, Microsoft 365 Copilot Developer, and Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 A3 and A5 are being updated with a new service plan: Microsoft Copilot in SharePoint.
The service plan will enable various copilot features, including:
- Copilot in OneDrive
- AI Sharing Summaries in Word
When this will happen:
The new service plans will be added in mid-late February 2024.
How this will affect your organization
The new service plan will be deployed to your organization, and then once the new Copilot features reach general availability, they will be available for use by those who have Microsoft Copilot licenses in your organization.
