Cloud Update is now generally available in the Microsoft 365 Apps admin center, enabling automated, controlled monthly updates with pause, rollback, exclusion windows, and rollout waves. It supports Copilot readiness, centralized management, and requires admin enablement with specific roles and subscription plans. GCC and some environments are unsupported.
Microsoft will throttle outbound emails sent from default onmicrosoft.com domains starting mid-October 2025, limiting to 100 messages per organization per 24 hours. This encourages use of custom domains. Internal emails remain unaffected. Admins should switch to custom domains and update related configurations accordingly.

This feature enables Viva Glint admins to create and manage custom age and tenure derivations directly within the platform. It empowers admins to easily update and maintain the structure of user data without requiring support.
Manage individual Windows quality updates including non-Security and out of band updates. Choose which update types to automatically approve and the rollout options for those approvals.
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android can now join Town Halls in Teams as attendees. You can attend directly from the invited Teams Room, with the same features that attendees have for Town Halls on the Teams desktop app. Available in Teams Rooms Pro.
