Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): [Copilot Extensibility] [1.02] Generate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents from agents built from Copilot Studio lite

With the lite version of Copilot Studio in M365, users can now use Office skills like generating PowerPoint decks, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents by chatting with the agent. This helps users save time by completing commonly used tasks. These Office skills will come as a part of the “Generate documents, charts, and code” capability in Copilot Studio lite (formerly known as Code Interpreter).

Power Automate – HTTP and Teams webhook trigger flows are moving to new URLs

As of August 2025, Power Automate flows and Agent flows (Copilot Studio) with HTTP triggers or Teams Webhook triggers that have logic.azure.com in the URL moved to a new URL as a part of a critical infrastructure upgrade to improve execution speed and provide new features.

Microsoft Purview: Information Protection- New Summary Metrics in Content Explorer for Unscanned Files and Classification History Details

Enhance Content Explorer by introducing new summary metrics that provide better visibility into scanning and classification activities. This update will include:
1. Unscanned Files Summary
Displays the count and percentage of files that have not been scanned for classification, helping admins identify gaps and take corrective action.
2. Classification History Insights
Shows trends and details of classification changes over time, helping admins to discover the stale data in their organization

Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Edit capability for selecting permission reading option for existing ServiceNow Knowledge & Catalog Connections

Earlier admins had to create new connections to adopt to the hierarchical permissions for ServiceNow Knowledge & Catalog Copilot Connectors as the edit capability was missing. Now, admins can easily edit their existing connections to switch between the permission handling option i.e. Simple vs Advanced to quickly adopt to the hierarchical permission feature.

Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Knowledge templates support for ServiceNow Knowledge Connector

Earlier ServiceNow Knowledge connector did not support ingestion of content for articles created using templates in ServiceNow. But now ServiceNow Knowledge connector supports ingestion of knowledge articles based on out-of-the-box templates like FAQ, How to, What is, etc. & even custom templates used by the customers in their organization.

Microsoft 365: People Skills profile editing improvements

People Skills is releasing two updates to give you more control over how others see your skills profile and ease of access for skill profile management. With these updates, you can easily control the order in which the skills you confirm are displayed to others in your profile card. Additionally, you’ll find a new deep link directly to skill profile editing from the Skills component on the profile card.
These updates will begin rollout to customers in November and are expected to be available to all People Skills customers by December.
