Retirement of Visio Data Visualizer Add-in for Microsoft Excel

The Visio Data Visualizer add-in for Excel will be retired: removed from the store on December 8, 2025, and its service shut down on March 2, 2026. Users must save existing diagrams as Visio files before then. Focus will shift to Visio Plan 2 and the Visio desktop app.

Feature updates Policy Change: Deprecating Option for Windows 10 Feature Updates on Devices Ineligible for Windows 11

The option to install the latest Windows 10 feature update on devices ineligible for Windows 11 will be deprecated starting February 17, 2026. Existing policies will continue until then. Users should prepare for this change and can seek assistance via the Microsoft Intune admin center.

Microsoft Word: The “Send to Kindle” feature will retire

The “Send to Kindle” feature in Microsoft Word will retire starting February 9, 2026, and be fully removed by March 9, 2026. It will no longer be available on Word desktop or web, but users can still upload documents via Amazon’s Send to Kindle website. No admin action is needed.

Outlook for Android supports PDF attachment preview
