The new Outlook now supports LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directories for sending S/MIME encrypted emails. A new usage report will be available in the Microsoft 365 admin center for Copilot Connectors in Microsoft 365 Copilot, designed to give organizations a detailed view of how connectors are being used within Microsoft 365 Copilot. This report provides insights into overall connector activity, publisher-level trends, and connector powered response patterns over time, along with detailed user-level connectors adoption data. With these analytics, admins can monitor adoption, identify usage patterns, and optimize Copilot experiences to drive greater value across their organization. #copilotcontrolsystem
Custom engine agents will support file uploads from local storage or OneDrive starting November 2025, allowing agents to access files briefly and respond to queries. This feature, enabled by default, applies to all users and matches Copilot’s supported file types, with image support coming later.
Starting January 2026, PowerPoint will retire the “Reuse Slides” feature on Windows and Mac desktops, removing it from the ribbon with no option to re-enable. Users should update documentation and consider alternative slide reuse methods. No compliance issues are noted.
