Copilot in Viva Glint is expanding its capabilities to support multilingual interactions, allowing users to submit prompts and receive responses in their preferred language. This enhancement improves accessibility and usability for global organizations by enabling Copilot to detect the language of user input, and return responses in the same language.
When opening a Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on Android, users will see a preview experience where they can use M365 Copilot Chat to command and ask questions about the file. If users wish to edit the document, they will transition to the standalone Word, Excel, or PowerPoint app. PDF scenarios are not affected. The feature will begin a phased rollout in December.

Task chat lets team members collaborate directly on tasks using rich text, formatting, and mentions – making it easier to discuss work and notify teammates on what needs attention.
Bring the apps your team relies on—tabs, bots, and message extensions—directly into Private Channels in Microsoft Teams. This update lets channel owners add apps to a specific private channel, so everyone collaborating there (including invited collaborators from other teams or organizations, subject to admin policy) can work in one place without switching contexts.

1. When “person” or “source” is typed, a list of relevant filter suggestions appears. This helps auto-complete the filter expression and enables effective pre-scoping.
2. Once filters are applied in the Search box, all subsequent suggestions are refined based on those filters.

Additionally, we’ve launched a new AI-powered search function that lets investigators use natural language to locate specific files by searching through keywords, metadata, and embeddings.
