SharePoint: Optimizing Version History for lists and libraries

We’re improving version history for SharePoint Lists and Document Libraries generated with grid view editing. This change improves reliability, reduces storage, and streamlines the user experience by consolidating multiple edits into one where possible. Automation rules and flows, if configured with item level edits, will also now trigger more efficiently.

Microsoft Viva: Hide a user in Viva Engage

The hide user feature is a user-level moderation control. It allows users to see fewer messages from other users, helping to reduce interactions that may be unwanted or inappropriate. Users cannot hide designated leaders, corporate communicators, or network/verified/Engage admins. The hide user feature is default on; admins can turn it off for their network in the Engage admin center.

Copilot meeting preparation improvements and expanding to more meeting types

Microsoft Copilot in Outlook will expand to support all meeting types, including 1:1s, providing real-time contextual insights and chat-based preparation tools. This update, rolling out worldwide from mid-October to November 2025, is on by default and requires no admin changes. Users should be informed and trained accordingly.

Microsoft 365 Copilot: MCP-based agents now available in Copilot and Microsoft 365 admin center

Microsoft 365 Copilot now supports MCP-based agents, allowing developers to build and admins to manage these agents via the Copilot Agent Store and admin center. The rollout starts late October 2025, is on by default, and requires no immediate action but recommends reviewing agent catalogs and updating documentation.
