Copilot-licensed enterprise users will benefit from Enhanced Personalization in Microsoft 365 Copilot through a new communication memory that further improves personalization by increasing the relevance and quality of responses based on previous communications. Communications memory is private to the user and based purely on communications the user has access to.
Microsoft Teams is launching a redesigned Workflows app in August 2025, improving automation with a faster, simpler interface powered by Power Automate. It features natural language flow creation, a new template library, and works across chats, channels, and SharePoint, requiring no admin setup and preserving existing workflows.
SharePoint now offers secure sharing links for videos, allowing broader access even without site permissions. New dialogs provide options to create sharing links or copy videos to the site. This feature is on by default, rolling out from mid-July to early August 2025. Prepare by updating users and support resources.
The Microsoft Intune service update for July 2025 is now live with a new service build. The release number will appear in the Tenant Status blade. Users should review the latest features and updates on the Intune What’s New and service update blogs to prepare.
The “Incomplete user enrollment” report and related Graph APIs will be removed from Intune in the August (2508) release. Users must update documentation and automation, and switch to the “Enrollment failures” report for enrollment failure details.
Introduction of a new report that provides transparency into platform activity by dashboard users. Metrics such as report views, Team Conversations completed, Focus Areas created, and more will be visible and filterable with this report.
Beginning with this feature release, Focus Areas will be associated with survey cycles and goal periods will be retired. Users will be able to select the same Focus Area across multiple cycles. The Focus Area Overview report will be filterable to groups of interest (e.g. managers only). Draft/deleted Focus Areas will no longer be included in Focus Area calculations.
After making changes to a shared page via chat or on-canvas Copilot, responses appear as private previews, showing content suggestions that you can edit and preview privately before applying them.
Information Barrier (IB) support in Microsoft Planner will enable organizations to restrict access to plans and tasks based on user groups. IB will help prevent data leakage, enforce internal policies, and support regulatory mandates by limiting plan visibility and collaboration to authorized segments.
