We’re improving version history for SharePoint Lists and Document Libraries generated with grid view editing. This change improves reliability, reduces storage, and streamlines the user experience by consolidating multiple edits into one where possible. Automation rules and flows, if configured with item level edits, will also now trigger more efficiently.
The hide user feature is a user-level moderation control. It allows users to see fewer messages from other users, helping to reduce interactions that may be unwanted or inappropriate. Users cannot hide designated leaders, corporate communicators, or network/verified/Engage admins. The hide user feature is default on; admins can turn it off for their network in the Engage admin center.
Within the Teams Settings app, we are now allowing the user to search for their desired setting through the search text box.

Microsoft Copilot in Outlook will expand to support all meeting types, including 1:1s, providing real-time contextual insights and chat-based preparation tools. This update, rolling out worldwide from mid-October to November 2025, is on by default and requires no admin changes. Users should be informed and trained accordingly.
Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps will expand its dynamic threat detection model in November 2025, replacing legacy policies with more accurate, research-driven detections. This update improves threat detection accuracy and responsiveness, requires no admin action before rollout, and includes new detections enabled by default.
Admin activities for managing Microsoft Copilot agents will be logged by default in Microsoft Purview Unified Audit Logs starting late October 2025. This enhances security visibility and compliance reporting, capturing detailed agent-related actions accessible via the Purview Portal without requiring configuration.
New Microsoft 365 Copilot usage intensity metrics will be available in the admin center report by late October 2025, showing prompt counts, daily trends, and active days at organization and user levels. No admin action is needed before rollout; admins should inform stakeholders and review updated reports.
Microsoft Graph beta now offers Teams administration APIs for user configuration, number management, and policy assignment. These enable automation and integration for Teams management, accessible with delegated or application permissions in commercial environments. Admins can begin exploring these APIs and ensure proper permission scopes.
Microsoft 365 Copilot now supports MCP-based agents, allowing developers to build and admins to manage these agents via the Copilot Agent Store and admin center. The rollout starts late October 2025, is on by default, and requires no immediate action but recommends reviewing agent catalogs and updating documentation.
