When using the Copilot Chat side pane in Microsoft 365 apps, users will be able to launch the full Microsoft 365 Copilot app from a dedicated button. Additionally, accessing some features in the side pane will launch the full app.
You can now reference a Loop or Page when you create a presentation with Copilot within the PowerPoint application.
Endpoint DLP can now classify Office files stored in Windows devices that have Azure RMS protection applied. Classification will be triggered when file is used in applications or when just-in-time classification is enabled

Microsoft 365 is introducing a new admin control for tenant-level management of org-wide sharing links for user-built Copilot agents. Rolling out mid-September 2025, admins can specify who can create these links to align with governance policies. Default behavior remains unchanged unless customized.
Microsoft Loop Pages will be integrated as tabs in Teams channels, allowing creation, editing, sharing, and mobile viewing. Rolling out from September to October 2025, this feature is on by default, inherits channel permissions, and may increase Loop component usage, requiring review of permissions and governance policies.
Microsoft 365 is introducing a new service listing, Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat, in Service health and Message center to improve communication visibility for Copilot Chat users. It will roll out worldwide by September 2025, requires no action, and does not affect service functionality.
Viva Connections will send weekly Microsoft Teams notifications starting late August 2025, reminding users of unread SharePoint news from the past week. Notifications link to the Unread tab in Viva Connections and are enabled by default but can be managed in Teams settings. No admin action needed.
