Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Ability to assign alerts & cases to an owner

With this update, admins will be able to assign a case or alert to other admins, analysts, and investigators, making it easier for colleagues to know which alerts and cases are being worked on. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Auto-labeling support OneDrive users and group scoping (U.S. Government clouds)

Service side auto-labeling now supports scoping of OneDrive workload to OneDrive users and groups vs Site URLs. Existing policies configured with Site URLs will still work but can’t be edited to add more Site URLs. Existing policies can remove Site URLs from location to trigger the new OneDrive user and group picker.

Whiteboard: Ink color picker

Users will be able to enjoy a wide range of colors for inking using the latest color picker feature. In addition to color picker, a slider will also be provided to change opacity level of pens. Recent colors used will also be available on the color palette and the color picker feature, to further enhance user experience with inking in Whiteboard.

Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance empowers end users to report inappropriate messages in Microsoft Teams

Coming soon, the ability for Microsoft Teams users to report concerning messages within Teams will be turned on by default for your organization. Concerning messages could include ones that contain potential regulatory policy violations or security-related concerns, such as improper sharing of sensitive business information, messages containing harassing or threatening language, or adult content.
