With Purview enabled in Microsoft Foundry, Purview admins can setup inline DLP policies to prompts on Foundry built apps and agents to ensure data loss prevention of sensitive data.
Presenters can now share a single application window and enable participants to annotate directly on top of that content, without exposing their entire desktop. This means cleaner presentations, protected privacy, and more engaging discussions across training sessions, workshops, and client meetings.

Outlook for Android will update text and image file previewers with a unified interface matching Word, Excel, and PowerPoint previews. The rollout starts late April 2026, completing by mid-May. Changes include updated icons, action order, and a new Expand button. No action is required.
Outlook for iOS will update attachment actions and previewer experience worldwide from late April to mid-May 2026. New actions include “Preview” and “Send a copy,” with renamed actions for consistency. Changes apply by default to all users; no action is required, but user notification is optional.
Starting April 2026, Microsoft Purview Endpoint DLP will enable detection and blocking of egress activities on unsaved files before they’re saved, enhancing data loss prevention. This feature is off by default, requires admin setup, and needs devices running anti-malware Client version 4.18.26020 or later.
Microsoft 365 Copilot (Premium) in PowerPoint will let users choose AI models, including OpenAI and Anthropic’s Claude, when editing presentations. This feature, enabled by default, rolls out worldwide from April to May 2026, maintaining existing security and compliance controls with admin options to disable Anthropic.
