This feature sets the Home site as the default for the Viva Connections experience in Teams desktop. Once implemented, users will be able to access their organization’s Home site through the Viva Connections app in Teams desktop. This change will only apply to customers who have not yet configured a Viva Connections experience.
With this new Summary feature in OneNote mobile, you can create a short and fluent summary of your longer pages which will help to consume relevant information faster. With the Question and Answer at your fingertips, you can get real-time answers to your queries directly within your notes, enhancing your ability to access and utilize information quickly and effectively.
With work location in Teams now including buildings, make your presence known, coordinate with others, and take advantage of AI-assisted booking in the future. Once enabled and opted-in, your work location can auto-update to a specific building when you connect to a peripheral at a bookable desk or BYOD room.
While live captions display in the spoken language by default, on Teams Rooms on Windows, you can now choose the translation language you prefer without affecting what other meeting participants see. This feature is available on Teams Rooms Pro.
This feature provides a visual optimization status indicator in Teams for VDI users. It will provide the user with an easy to understand status message (like ‘Optimized’, or ‘Not Optimized’), some contextual information about the optimization mode (optimized with the WebRTC-based solution or the new SlimCore-based solution), and in the not optimized case it will provide a brief description of the problem and an error code, for better supportability. It will also provide an option to repair Teams optimization mode if the user is not optimized (through a restart).
You can control live transcription (start, stop, restart) during a meeting from a Team Rooms on Windows device. The real-time transcript includes each speaker’s name and timestamp. You can also change settings including the spoken language, the translated language, and whether the original and translated transcript would show side by side. This feature is available in Teams Rooms Pro.
