The first set of offline capabilities in the new Outlook for Windows. Mail, calendar events, and contacts will be stored on your device, so you can view them even when you’re not connected to the internet. Additionally, you can perform key actions on your mail, including flag, move, and delete, and compose messages, to stay productive even when you’re not connected to the internet.

There are some significant enhancements made to the Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention end-user email notification. These improvements provide admins with greater flexibility and control over the end-user notification email:
1. Enhanced Token Support: We have expanded our token library to offer precise and detailed information to your end users.
2. Email Message Customization: You now have the ability to decide whether the matching
email messages should be included or excluded in the end-user notification emails.
3. Tailored Email Content: Customize the sender’s display name and email body using HTML formatting, allowing for a personalized touch.
4. Email Preview: Prior to sending email notifications, you can review them to ensure they align perfectly with your requirements. These enhancements empower you to refine your communication and provide a more tailored experience for your end users with Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention.

With this update, Insider Risk Management will support the scanning technique of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to detect potentially risky activities that may lead to data security incidents related to images in SharePoint, Teams messages, and endpoints. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Admins will have the ability to turn off private message capabilities in their Viva Engage (Yammer) network. Once turned off, users will not see the feature in the frontend.
Once released, this setting is available for admins to use any time. If turning off private messages in existing networks, users will lose access to their messages. All content remains ingested and available via eDiscovery.

Microsoft Teams users will be able to control how they get notified in meeting chats through RSVP to their meetings. When you decline a meeting, you will not receive notifications or see the chats in chat list; when you accept a meeting, you will receive notification for all new messages.

We are updating the app icon and logo associated with the “Tasks by Planner and To Do app” in Microsoft Teams.
When this will happen:

As referenced in MC665935 (September 2023), the Bing Chat Enterprise (BCE) service plan has been added to Bing Chat Enterprise-eligible Microsoft 365 licenses. The Bing Chat Enterprise service plan provides more granular management controls to turn Bing Chat Enterprise on or off for specific users or groups.
As a result, the previous Bing Chat Enterprise management controls found on the aka.ms admin pages (aka.ms/TurnOnBCE and aka.ms/TurnOffBCE) will no longer be available and access to Bing Chat Enterprise for your users will be based on selections made with the Bing Chat Enterprise service plan.

The new engagement information will enable organizers to view meeting engagement data such as total reactions, raised hands, cameras turned on, and more in the “Attendance” tab after a meeting or webinar.
