Announcing public preview of Tenant-level analytics for Power Automate (cloud flows)

Power Platform admins require intelligent tooling to monitor the distribution of cloud flow events by environment and keep track of key consumption metrics. With this public preview, admins can use out-of-box solutions to monitor usage, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) operations, and track inventory of cloud flows used to automate procedures across the organization.

These out-of-box reports greatly improve the Microsoft Power Platform service admin’s ability to keep track of key metrics like Monthly Active Users (MAU) and monitor distribution of cloud flow events across environments.

(Updated) Teams Meeting Recordings Auto-Expiration in OneDrive and SharePoint

Updated January 31, 2022: We have updated this message with a change to the default expiration days setting, new rollout dates, and additional details for clarity.

To ensure the best experience we have postponed the start of final stage of this change until late March. The final stage is the part of the feature that actually stamps the expiration date on the file and physically deletes the file based on that stamped expiration date.

Excel: Run your Office scripts from a workbook button now on Windows

Microsoft Teams: Call control with bluetooth headsets and speakerphones

Use device buttons to control call (answer, end, hold) from Bluetooth audio devices without needing a USB dongle when connected to a Windows PC running Teams desktop client. For many headsets and speakerphones, this will work without requiring any user action to enable other than pairing the headset or speakerphone with the PC. Watch our certification page for additional information coming soon about devices tested to meet all certification criteria with native Bluetooth connections (w/o a USB dongle).

Outlook: Add apps and use them inside Outlook

Apps built for Teams can also run in Outlook now. Outlook users will be able to acquire and use these updated Teams apps (with personal tabs and/or search-based message extensions) without leaving Outlook.

Admin enhancements for the new Yammer

Yammer admins can enable the new Yammer experience for all users while being provided an opt-out option solely for admins. Admins will have the ability to toggle the classic Yammer experience if they need to validate user feedback or access features only available in classic Yammer.

Yammer Administrator Role in Azure Active Directory

A new role is being added to Azure Active Directory titled, “Yammer Administrator”. Users who are assigned the Yammer Administrator role will be allowed to manage all aspects of the Yammer service.

Yammer support for Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
