The task publishing experience allows frontline organizations to distribute tasks across employees spread across geographically dispersed locations and then monitor how that work is going. Task publishing is available in Microsoft Teams as part of the Tasks by Planner and To Do app, which will soon be renamed to Planner.

By creating the Auto-claim policy for any product, IT Admins will enable eligible new users to claim a license to the product when they sign in. This removes the dependency on the IT Admin and provides a seamless experience to end users. Viva Goals will be onboarded to this platform.

Microsoft Teams now works seamlessly with Apple AirPods to mute or unmute yourself on Mac models running macOS Sonoma. The same functionality already available on iPhone running iOS 17 is now supported on new Teams for Mac.

This feature enables all unlicensed users to request a license from their IT Admin. IT Admins see these requests in MAC and either approve or decline them. Today, unlicensed users who get errors while trying to sign in cannot proceed. With this feature, they can at least express intent to their IT Admin to start using Goals. Also, Org Admins can now request licenses for all unlicensed users in their Goals Organizations, thus unblocking them from using Goals.

“Help me create” is a content create feature in Microsoft365.com that is powered by Copilot for Microsoft 365. Like Copilot, “Help me create” is built on Microsoft’s comprehensive approach to security, compliance, and privacy.

Sovereign cloud customers (including GCCH) will be able to open MIP protected PDF content in Microsoft Edge. This change will be available in the Microsoft Edge built-in PDF reader powered by Adobe Acrobat and the legacy Microsoft Edge PDF engine.
