Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – New cmdlet for Content Explorer (Preview)

The Content explorer Export feature has a limitation of exporting data only after drill down to specific location. This feature is now available in Public Preview and allows admins to use a new cmdlet within the Security & Compliance PowerShell, Export-ContentExplorerData, to export all rows of data for the content that are scanned and shown on the Content Explorer.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Data Loss Prevention: – Download File Evidence for Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention investigations

With this capability, DLP investigators can download the full file that resulted in the DLP policy match as evidence in SharePoint and OneDrive for Business. The option to download files will be available for DLP alerts in Microsoft Purview compliance portal as well as the DLP alerts in the Microsoft 365 Defender portal.

Microsoft Teams: Remove Teams call and meetings details from mobile device call logs

Teams users can now choose if they want to keep or remove their Teams call and meetings history details from their iOS device call log. Users will have the option to determine their preference in the Call settings in the Teams app.

Microsoft Teams: Single Watermark for Teams Meetings (Premium)

Teams meeting organizers now have the flexibility to choose between a Single watermark or a repeated watermark. The Single watermark will display the viewer’s email on top of the shared content and/or video feed in a clean and unobtrusive manner. When the Single watermark
option is enabled via Meeting options, the watermark will be enforced for all meeting attendees.

Update to the Minimum iOS System Requirements for Outlook for iOS

Outlook for iOS is supported on the two most recent versions of iOS. When a new version of iOS is released, Outlook’s Operating System requirement becomes the two most recent versions: the current version and the previous version of iOS, iPadOS and watchOS.

Outlook for iOS is preparing to drop support for iOS 15 when iOS 17 is released.

Microsoft Teams: Group Policy Assignment Rank Assistance

As an admin, you use policies to control Microsoft Teams features that are available to users in your organization. To easily manage different types of user needs, Teams provides group policy assignment, which lets you assign custom policies to user groups. 

Effective policy for a user is determined by precedence rules. If a user isn’t directly assigned a policy of a given type, the policy assigned to a group that the user is a member of takes precedence. If a user is a member of multiple groups, the policy that has the highest (group assignment ranking) for the given policy type takes precedence.
