Control Messages are system generated messages on Microsoft Teams when an activity or event occurs. For example, User A added User B to a chat and shared all chat history. Export API, an information archiving solution for Teams, goes beyond the user-generated Teams message and provides support to archive Teams control messages. As part of this release, Export API will support member add and member remove messages in the context of Teams, chats, and channels.

With this update, Teams Panels will support reserving a room using a QR code. This feature lets Microsoft Teams users book a room for meetings now, in the future, or add the room to an existing meeting by scanning a QR code on the scheduling panel and using the Teams app on their Android or iOS mobile phones.

We are updating the existing feedback policies to make the feedback we collect more actionable. User feedback goes directly to our engineers and helps us shape the future of Microsoft products and services for all our users. Microsoft will use this information to improve product experiences for users, including by improving the quality of AI-generated responses and troubleshooting product issues.
The feedback we collect from your users is available for you to review in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Keeping the feedback experiences enabled will let you see what your users are saying about the products they are using.

We are releasing three predicates in the SharePoint DLP area that will provide protection of password protected, unscannable, and partially scannable documents.

Configure DLP rules that display warnings in a popup dialog before sending emails. With this capability, admins can set up rules to provide warnings, require business justifications, or request explicit acknowledgements before sending emails. Furthermore, admins can customize a Compliance URL within a DLP rule, ensuring that end users receive valuable guidance through the popup.

Cross-tenant synchronization lets you automate creating user accounts across tenants in your organization. Users created by the synchronization process continue to authenticate in the same way they do on their primary tenant and each application can assign conditional access policies as appropriate. So now, users across your organization can access applications such as ServiceNow, Adobe, etc. without integrating them the apps in multiple tenants.
Behind the scenes and transparent to the user, the sync process leverages the robust Azure AD B2B functionality and is fully integrated with Azure AD’s security and governance capabilities such as conditional access, cross-tenant access settings, and entitlement management.
