Microsoft Stream: Automatic transcriptions for video files uploaded to SharePoint, Yammer, and Office.com

Videos uploaded to SharePoint Online, Yammer, and Office.com will have transcriptions automatically generated shortly after upload. This feature will not be available for A1 and trial tenancies.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management | Adaptive Protection – HR resignation date as a condition for risk level

Admins can now select the HR resignation date as a condition to assign a minor, moderate, or elevated risk level. For example, an admin can configure the minor risk level to be assigned when an HR resignation date is sent via the HR connector. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft Teams: Call delegation feature enhancements

Shared line appearance lets a user choose a delegate to answer or handle calls on their behalf. We are launching a simplified experience for users who have set up call delegation which will be available on the Teams desktop app and Teams phone devices. The new UI will allow delegates to easily switch between the different delegator lines they manage and view call history for the delegator’s line.
Delegators will be able to view and join active calls handled by the delegate and grant delegates permission to join active calls.

Microsoft Teams: Teams Connect chat enhancements

IT admins will be able to add external partners with phone-based Teams accounts not managed by an organization to their organization’s extended directory. These external users can have a company curated user profile including location and job role. Users in the organization, who are enabled for Teams external access, can search for these external users by name and establish 1:1 or group chats, just like they do with internal users.
