This change was originally announced in MC540241 (April ’23), we apologize for the delay in providing the new timeline.
Teams Rooms provide rooms specific functionality through room specific licenses and underlying products (Service plans) included in these licenses. To ensure consistency of experiences across current and future room licenses, all Teams Rooms Pro licenses will be backfilled with Microsoft_Teams_Rooms_Pro service plan while all Teams Rooms Basic licenses will be backfilled with Microsoft_Teams_Rooms_Basic service plan.

Automapping occurs by default when a user has been granted full access privileges to a shared mailbox in Microsoft Exchange Online. The new Outlook for Windows will automatically mount the mailbox as a resource under the account that has been granted full access.

Leaders will see a refreshed homepage with content tailored to them. This will include more emphasis on leader specific metrics, actions, and articles. Additionally, leaders can now access filters on the homepage to toggle between teams, time periods, and benchmarks.

This feature enables users to view and edit collaborative meeting notes while watching Teams meeting recordings in Stream. Collaborative notes allow meeting attendees to co-create and collaborate on their meeting agenda, notes, and action items. Since Collaborative notes are a Loop component, it is always in sync regardless of how many places they live in. Assigned tasks in collaborative meeting notes automatically sync with To Do & Planner.

With this capability, admins can now extend Advanced classification support to Mac Endpoints as well. Advance Classification scanning and protection allows the more advanced Microsoft
Purview cloud-based data classification service to scan items, classify them and return the results to the local machines.
This means admins can take advantage of classification techniques like fingerprinting, exact data match classification and named entities in their DLP policies.
Currently available in GA for Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention, we’re introducing the ability to extend Advance Classification support to Mac endpoint devices for Government Clouds.
