Viva Topics provides a central knowledge base for manually created topics and definitions inside apps like Viva Engage. These topics don’t use Viva Topics’ AI, topic cards and pages but can be selected to classify conversations and posts in Viva Engage.
With this release, we’re proving a way for knowledge admins to edit, create, and delete these “simple” topics without Viva licensing as a way to make knowledge management more accessible to more users.

Proactive monitoring capability for admins in the Teams Admin Center (TAC) to identify audio, video and app sharing related quality issues while the meeting is in progress. Admins can define the desired monitoring parameters in TAC, which they will be notified of for investigation of users with poor meeting quality. This monitoring will be based on real-time meeting quality telemetry data available in TAC.

External guest users will receive SMS text notifications about their appointment, including appointment details and the meeting join link so they can join directly from mobile. Text notifications are sent for appointment confirmation, updates, and a reminder 15 minutes before
the appointment begins. This is available in US only at this time.

Cloud IntelliFrame makes non-AI cameras smarter. With Cloud IntelliFrame, participants in the room appear similar to remote attendees, creating an immersive and engaging experience for
everyone. Whether working from home or in the office, participants are able to see every facial expression and cue, just as if they were there in person. This feature is available only with the Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro license.

New admin policy to control Collaborative Annotations for user, group, or entire organization.

In the past Windows Business users could add a consumer account to Windows to use within various apps. Users could use this Consumer account to configure syncing their OneDrive consumer files via the OneDrive sync client. This summer the OneDrive Sync client will start prompting Business users if they’d like to sync their Consumer files using a detected Microsoft Consumer account known to Windows.
