New capabilities are coming to Teams for EDU that allow educators to create and organize course resources including Assignments, Files, Links, Channels, Class Notebook pages, and more. This will be a one stop shop for content creation and organization for your Class Teams.
In March, individual users in your organization will be able to sign up for a self-service trial of Viva Goals from the website. This self-service experience allows individuals and teams to try Viva Goals with no requirement to input payment information, while providing complete visibility and control to their Microsoft 365 admin.
Previously, only admin-initiated trials of Viva Goals were available, which were limited to one trial per tenant. Customers told us they wanted a way for multiple departments across their organization to try Viva Goals at the same time. To meet this demand, we’re launching self-service trials.
This update will provide transparency on topic discovery through analytics, by showing the Sites processed counts in Microsoft Admin center.

As part of the DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication Reporting & Conformance) standard, the owner of the domain whose MX is pointed to Office 365 can request DMARC aggregate reports through the RUA of the DMARC record. This will help the domain owner to monitor their domain’s traffic passing through Office 365 and adjust their sender authentication configurations to reach an actionable DMARC policy.

The Stream migration tool, which has been in preview since August of 2022, has now entered general availability. The tool is designed to help IT admins migrate video content from Stream (Classic) to Stream (on SharePoint). Admins can access the tool by logging on to the Stream Admin Center and then navigating to Stream Migration > Migration tool.
As announced in January, Stream (Classic) will be retired on Feb 15, 2024 for all customers, except GCC customers. The successor service Stream (on SharePoint) is currently available for all customers. A critical step to begin adopting Stream (on SharePoint) is to migrate video content to it. The Stream migration tool has been designed to help admins move content from Stream (Classic) to Stream (on SharePoint) as there is no auto-migration within Stream (Classic).
A vibrant new look and feel for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows consoles and front-of-room displays. To make Teams Rooms even easier to use, there is greater consistency in the user interface across Windows and Android devices. This update includes vivid new ambient screens, new themes, and a refreshed calendar that enables scrolling for full day views, on consoles and front-of-room displays. There are also improved visual cues throughout the experience that make it easier and more intuitive to interact with the console.
Now in Viva Learning, users will be able to track their progress on different courses within the Learning path.
The Export function plays an integral role in eDiscovery. After a review set is added, with use of this Export API, organizations can create export jobs and get the download URL to successfully download the export created in a programmatic manner. This API will enable external applications and partners to successfully integrate the eDiscovery export function through scripting.
